Culture and Tradition

While traveling in Niigata, I unexpectedly came across hanging Hina decorations.
Dozens of small ornaments were suspended from above, filling the space with soft colors and a calm, gentle atmosphere.

Each piece was tiny, yet full of character.
They weren’t flashy, but you could feel the care and time that went into making them. I found myself slowing down just to look at the details.

I was told that these decorations carry wishes for children’s happiness and healthy growth.
Knowing that made the whole scene feel even warmer and more meaningful.

It was one of those quiet cultural moments you don’t plan for, but end up remembering the most.
Not just something to see, but something to feel.
