Lake Biwako Cycling 3-hour guided tour

We specialize in cycling tours around the Lake Biwa area using compact E-bikes. Our local guides will take you to peaceful, hidden spots not found in guidebooks.

In addition to our easy-to-join, 3-hour regular tours, we also offer "Biwaichi" — a full circuit ride around Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest lake.

Group Size: 2-6 participants

Booking Deadline: Until 6:00 PM (Japan Standard Time) the day before the tour.

Cancellation Deadline: 2 days prior to the tour date.

Rain Policy: Tour proceeds in light rain; canceled in case of severe weather.

Cycling on Lake Biwa - Important Notes and Conditions

Important Notes for Course Participation:

• Individuals with no prior experience riding a bicycle are kindly requested to refrain from participating.
• Participants should have a minimum height of approximately 145 cm (4 feet 9 inches). Individuals below this height are kindly requested to refrain from participating.
• In the event of inclement weather, the tour may be canceled on the day. In such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged.
• If you do not arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled meeting time without prior notice, you will be considered a no-show and your participation will be canceled.

Other Important Information:

• Applications are accepted for groups of one or more people; however, the tour will only be conducted with a minimum of two participants.
• If the number of confirmed reservations does not reach two, the tour will not be conducted.
• Even after your reservation is confirmed, it may be canceled if the total number of participants does not reach two. Please be aware of this possibility.
• In the event of a tour cancellation (your reservation being canceled), you will be notified by 6:00 PM (18:00) on the day prior to the scheduled tour.
